E26: Personal Affirmations with Doc Peace

We are stoked to have doc.PEACE back around the Virtual Campfire!

Have you ever read affirmations and rolled your eyes all the way back into your head? Feeling like you just don't get it or that affirmations don't work for you? We feel you, and doc.PEACE created a new tool to help you create an affirmation that works for you. The problem with repeating affirmations that other people write is that they aren't rooted in your goals or your values.

I'm not the first person to say "I can do hard things" or "I love my body" but when those two affirmations came to me on the Trans-Catalina Trail, they were rooted in my future (right now I'm doing a hard thing, I want to do more of this hard thing) and my values (I love my body, even if it is struggling right now, and I want to treat it right moving forward so I can do more of this).

I've tried mantra after mantra, affirmation after affirmation, and those two have stuck with me now four years later, and they've lead to a complete transformation of my mindset.

Let's get you hooked up with an affirmation that means something!
